Technical Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Technical Engineer to support installation, testing, troubleshooting, servicing, and maintenance works for security systems projects. The candidate will be involved in onsite technical activities, system commissioning, and support for project execution.

Job Responsibilities

  • Carry out installation, wiring, termination, and testing of security systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and rectification works.
  • Support project implementation and ensure work is completed according to schedule.
  • Coordinate with project team, subcontractors, and clients onsite.
  • Prepare basic reports, testing records, and service documentation.
  • Attend preventive maintenance (PPM) and emergency service calls.
  • Ensure work is carried out according to safety requirements and company standards.
  • Assist in system configuration and commissioning when required.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Certificate in Electrical / Electronic / IT / Engineering related field.
  • Experience in ELV or security systems is preferred.
  • Able to work onsite and travel when required.
  • Basic networking knowledge will be an advantage.
  • Responsible, hardworking, and able to work independently.
  • Possess driving license.
